This was the most crazy show I’ve ever been too. Over 1,000 people at an illegal house show in West Oakland. People were jumping off that roof into the crowd, those two cars on the right got flattened and when the line of ten cop cars pulled up at 2:20am they were bombarded by kids lined up against that GATS sign hurling 40s at them. I’ll never forget that crash, crash, thwat sound of bottles hitting police cars.

This photo is from before it got really crazy. When Japanther played, there was a huge projection of people dancing on the wall above them that we later realized was the police shining a spot light on the roof.

We saw people helping people of the roof the NEXT morning and people were found scattered about the neighborhood asleep in peoples backyards at 10am. The whole block was crushed with graffiti.
